If you have ever herd of C & O Trattoria you have herd of their killer garlic rolls. And yes, they are to die for. But please do not fill up on the water and garlic rolls, even though that in itself would be a delicious  and filling treat. Try some of their pasta. They have lots to choose from. Not only is their pasta great, they have many Italian dishes that will satisfy the pickiest of eaters.

On this visit to C & O, I decided to try the Fettuccine Sun Dried Tomato. The menu read “Seasonal Vegetables, Mushrooms, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Pesto and Garlic in a Sun Dried Tomato Cream Sauce”. This dish had a ton of flavor. The pasta was perfect, not over nor under cooked. The vegetables tasted fresh. My favorite was the sun dried tomato cream sauce. Absolutely yummy. The individual portion was large enough to share. But if you’re the type that just cant have enough pasta, order a dish for yourself. I always make the mistake of eating too many garlic rolls, so I have plenty of left overs. C & O is a must try, especially for the Italian food fanatics.

They are located at 31 Washington Boulevard, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, at the Venice Pier. Don’t confuse C & O Trattoria with C & O Cucina which are on the same street a few blocks from each other. Trattoria is the on closest to the beach. One of the great parts of C & O Trattoria is that you can enjoy a great meal and immediately after find yourself taking a walk on the the beach.
